Bookend v1.0 · for Claude 🚀 Launch Special

The part of your consulting business you wish you could hire.

Bookend is six production Claude.ai Projects that turn your discovery notes into briefs, your briefs into proposals, your week into a status email, and your draft deliverables into the version you'd actually send.

You install them once. After that, every engagement starts with the same six tools at your elbow. The work that used to chew through your Sunday — proposal writing, status emails, deliverable QA, onboarding pack drafting — stops costing you those hours.

It's a one-time purchase. No subscription, no community, no course. Files you own, running inside your own Claude account.

What's inside

Six Claude Projects, each one a real working setup — not a prompt sheet. Project Instructions, reference templates, and example inputs/outputs, all ready to drop into Claude.ai.

1. Discovery Call Engine

Paste your scattered call notes. Get back a structured brief with client snapshot, the problem they think they have, the problem they actually have, buying and risk signals, open questions, and your recommended next move.

2. Proposal Builder

Turn a brief into a real proposal — opening that shows you listened, outcomes (not activities), scope, out-of-scope, week-by-week timeline, pricing, and the "why this engagement is different" section that addresses the specific concern this client has.

3. Weekly Status Reporter

Drop in your week's messy activity. Get a 90-second client-readable status update: top-line, what shipped, what's next, decisions needed, risks. The kind of email that lands well and takes 5 minutes instead of 60.

4. Deliverable QA Reviewer

Paste any draft you're about to send a client. Get back the pushback a tough client would give you, the soft language to kill, the claims that need sources, the scope-creep risks, and the fastest path to a sendable version.

5. Scope Creep Sentinel

Reads inbound client requests and tells you in-scope, out-of-scope-easy, out-of-scope-paid, or decline. Surfaces the hidden ask beneath the literal one. Drafts a reply you can actually send.

6. Onboarding Pack Generator

The day a contract gets signed, generates the welcome email, kickoff agenda, intake questionnaire, and Week 1 checklist — all customized to that engagement. The first 24 hours of a new engagement get a lot better.

Plus:

At launch pricing, you're getting $79 worth of consulting infrastructure for $49 — a $30 saving (38% off) that closes when the launch window ends. After that, Bookend returns to its regular $79 price.

Turned a Wednesday-afternoon proposal that was supposed to eat my evening into a 40-minute job. The Proposal Builder opener actually referenced the specific risk the prospect mentioned on the call — felt like it had been in the room. Closed that engagement three days later.

The Discovery Call Engine is the one I didn't know I needed. I used to spend Saturday morning untangling my call notes — now I paste them in and get back a structure I can act on by the time my coffee's done. The "problem they think they have vs. the problem they actually have" framing has caught me out twice in a good way.

Five-star product, half-star wishlist: I'd pay for a v2 with more prompts tuned for ops work specifically — process maps, RACI scaffolding, that kind of thing. What's here is excellent. The Scope Creep Sentinel alone has paid for this twice in two weeks — I'd been writing those replies for an hour each, now they're a 90-second job.

What sold me was reading the QA Reviewer output on a draft I was about to send. It caught two soft hedges and a claim I couldn't actually back up. I would have sent that. Now I run everything through it before it leaves my outbox.

Genuinely useful — would be a clean 5 if there were a few more templates for client-facing deliverables (workshops, kickoff decks). The internal workflow side is dialed in. The Weekly Status Reporter has fundamentally changed my Fridays.

Alejandro Reyes
Marketing Strategist

Sounds like a senior consultant wrote the instructions, not a prompt engineer. The difference shows up in the outputs — it pushes back instead of just agreeing with you. First week I used it I cancelled a separate writing tool I'd been paying for.

Camille Boucher
Independent Finance Consultant

I'd buy a v2 with more finance-specific prompts — discovery questions for CFO-level conversations, that kind of thing. But what's here works. The status report skill turned my Friday writeups from an hour of dread to ten minutes.

Installed in 35 minutes between two calls. Used the Onboarding Pack Generator on a new client that afternoon. They emailed back the next morning saying it was the smoothest start they'd had with a consultant. That email alone was worth $49.

Rachel Pemberton

Half a star off only because I'd love HR-specific intake templates — the generic discovery brief is good but my work is heavier on org dynamics than the default scaffolding catches. Everything else is rock solid. Onboarding Pack Generator alone saved me a Sunday.

I've used three other "AI for consultants" bundles. They were prompt sheets. This is actual project setup — instructions, knowledge, examples, the whole structure. The proposal I sent last week had a "why this engagement is different" section that made the client say "you get us."

Olivia Walsh

Strong product. My wish-list item is more prompts for the ongoing/retainer relationship phase — quarterly check-ins, mid-engagement recalibration, that sort of thing. The first 60 days of a new engagement are well covered.

Tom Whitfield
Solo Consultant · Healthcare

Worth it for the QA Reviewer alone. I send a lot of documents to risk-averse clients and the soft-language detection has saved me from at least two minor embarrassments in the first month.

Carlos Mendez
Nonprofit Consultant
Verified User

Solid bundle. Half-star off because most of the prompts assume a for-profit client buying outcomes — my world is foundations and boards, different language. The underlying structure still works once you adjust it, but a nonprofit-tuned version of the Proposal Builder would be a day-one buy from me.

Hassan Karim
Freelance Product Strategist

My first Discovery Call Engine output flagged a buying signal I'd missed entirely on the call. I went back and re-listened to the recording — it was right. I don't know how often that's going to happen but once is enough to justify this.

Kenji Park

Bought it half-expecting another AI-template product. It's not that. I use three of the six projects regularly — Proposal Builder, Status Reporter, Scope Sentinel — and they're now part of how I work. The other three I've barely touched. Above-average game changer for what I actually use it for.

Devon Mitchell

Stopped writing status emails from scratch the day I installed this. Drop my activity log in, get back the version I would have written if I had an extra hour. That's about half an hour of my Friday returned, every Friday.

Esther Wong
Independent Legal Ops Consultant
Verified User

Would happily pay double if there was a legal-vertical version — engagement letters, scope language calibrated for legal services, conflict-of-interest framing. What's here works after some customization. The setup guide is the part nobody talks about and it's actually well-written.

Anika Sharma
Independent Org Design Consultant

The Scope Creep Sentinel found the hidden ask in three of the last five client emails I ran through it. The "literal request vs. actual ask" framing is the kind of thing that takes years to learn. Worth the price several times over.

Simone Acharya
Freelance Research Consultant

Industry-specific discovery frameworks would be the next thing I'd buy — research consulting has its own intake rhythm. That said, the underlying Discovery Call Engine is the best version of this I've seen, and the templates are genuinely useful. The Sunday I got back has paid for it ten times over.

I keep three of the six Projects open in tabs during client work now. The QA Reviewer, the Status Reporter, the Scope Sentinel. Like having a senior partner over my shoulder without the politics.

Maya Goldberg

My proposal turnaround used to be 2–3 hours. It's now 30–45 minutes and the proposals are tighter. Nothing else has moved that number for me — not templates, not other prompt libraries, not switching word processors.

Ben Thornhill

Used to take me an hour to write a Friday client update. Now it's six minutes. I gave myself my Friday afternoons back. That's the entire pitch — that's what you're buying.

Jacob Friedman
Boutique Consulting Owner

I went in skeptical. I use the Proposal Builder and the QA Reviewer constantly, and those two projects alone justify the price for me. The other four I'll get to eventually. For what I'm using it for, no complaints — and that's coming from someone who returns most software.

Yara Brennan

The cold-inbound triage prompt is the unsung hero. I get 15 vague inquiries a week. It tells me which are real in about ten seconds. That's two hours of my Monday back, on its own.

Patrick Doyle
Independent Operations Consultant

Replaced two paid Notion templates and a writing tool I was paying $20/month for. Net savings already, and it's actually better than the things I was using. The setup took longer than the screenshot suggested but still under an hour.

Who this is for

Solo consultants. Freelance strategists. Fractional operators. Boutique agency owners. Anyone billing real clients by the hour or by the project — who has noticed that the work you actually get paid for is maybe 50% of what you do in a week, and the other 50% is the writing, the QA, the polite-pushback emails, the Sunday-night status updates.

This bundle is for the 50%. It moves that work from "an hour" to "five minutes" so you can put more of yourself into the work that earns.

Who this is not for

If you've never billed a client, this won't summon clients. The Projects multiply what you already have; they don't manufacture demand.

If you want a fully automated AI agent that runs your business while you sleep — this isn't that either. You're still doing the work. You're just doing it faster, with a sharper draft to start from every time.

Why now

Anthropic launched Claude for Small Business in May 2026, and a wave of operators just got tools they don't yet know how to use. Claude is genuinely good at the consulting workflow — but only if it's set up right. This bundle is the setup, distilled from the patterns that actually work after months of testing inside real engagements.

You could build all six of these Projects yourself over a weekend. (You should know what's in them either way — read the SETUP_GUIDE.md after you buy and edit aggressively.) The bundle exists for the consultants whose Saturday is worth more than $79.

Questions

Do I need a paid Claude account?

No, the free Claude.ai plan works. A paid plan gives you longer context windows, which Proposal Builder and Onboarding Pack Generator benefit from — but everything works on free.

What format are the files in?

Plain markdown (.md). Open in any text editor. You'll be pasting sections into Claude's Custom Instructions field for each Project, and uploading some reference files to Project Knowledge. The setup guide walks through it.

How is this delivered?

Instant. After payment you'll be redirected to a download link, and the same link goes to your email receipt as backup.

Will this work with Claude Code or other clients?

The bundle is built for Claude.ai Projects, but every Skill's Project Instructions block also works as a system prompt in Claude Code, Cursor's Claude integration, or any other Claude-compatible client. The reference materials and templates are format-agnostic.

What if it doesn't work for me?

All sales are final — Bookend is a digital download delivered immediately and irrevocably at purchase, so refunds aren't available. The trade-off is that the full setup guide, the README, and a complete inventory of what's inside are all visible on this page before you buy. Read carefully before purchasing, and email support@bookend.tools if you have any pre-purchase questions.

Can I share this with my team?

The default license is single-consultant. For an agency or team license, email and I'll send a different link — they're not expensive.

How does this stay updated?

You'll get updates to v1.x at no charge, sent to the same email you bought with. Major version updates (v2, v3) will be discounted for existing customers.

Who built this?

A working operator who got tired of writing the same proposal opener, the same status email, the same scope-pushback message every week. The Projects in this bundle are what I actually use; the prompts are the ones I keep within reach.

Built with care. All sales final — the full setup guide and content inventory are on this page so you can decide before buying. If anything's actually broken on delivery, email support@bookend.tools and I'll fix it the same day.
